Typical Methods:

1. Personal Information Threats – Claiming your account is linked to crime and demanding financial details.

2. Impersonating Investigators – Pretending to be prosecutors/police, showing fake case numbers or documents.

3. Safe Account Scam – Instructing you to transfer money to a so-called “safe account” for protection or investigation.

4. Gift Card Requests – Demanding mobile gift cards (e.g., cultural vouchers, prepaid cards) for “verification.”

How to Respond:

1. Even if documents or IDs look real, always verify through official hotlines or customer service.

2. If you suspect fraud, immediately contact 112 (police) or 1332 (Financial Supervisory Service).

• Law enforcement agencies will never demand money or gift cards.

• Any phone call or message asking for investigation fees or transfers is 100% voice phishing.

• Advertisements such as “easy short-term job,” “errand job,” or “high-return part-time” that involve delivering cash or purchasing cryptocurrency on behalf of others are illegal and connected to voice phishing crimes.

• Lending or selling your bank account is also a crime and will make you complicit in voice phishing.
